 Below you'll find a selection of my favorite shots of the week, hope you like them!


Very few times so many elements work in a single composition. This photo is clearly an exception archived my combining different shapes, textures and colours.

I personally love old buildings. This one, located in Grønland, was a joy to shoot, not to mention the surprise of finding a mannequin in the living room! When I was asked if I thought it should be moved, I responded with a radical NO! I honestly think it was really cool, so she stayed :)

By looking at the model, you could tell the apartment was a bit cold :)

The place below belongs to a person that works for Canon Norway. Being a Nikon shooter myself, I really had to prove her that Nikon produces way better images :)

Jokes aside, I loved the colours of this charming rekkehus.

Being single and having no kids, I sincerely have no idea or understanding on how it feels to have four children..it sounds just too menacing and foreing...almost like science fiction..well, maybe I'm exagerating, but the point is that you have to admire and respect people that choose to have big families and at the same time have the ability to decorate their places in a tasteful way. The four pictures below are from the same property.

I can't complain about my clients, they often invite me a cup of coffee, chocolate and all sorts of fruits..heck, I sincerely think that if it wasn't for them, I'd weight no more than 30 Kilos! but the owner from the house below was without any doubt one of the nicest persons I've met in a long time. She noticed that I was a bit sick and took care of me giving me as much Vitamin C as a human can handle! So, thank you for that!! hope you have a fast and easy sell :)

Eye catching! I think this red carpet looks fantastic here.

The location of the fire place was genius. Both the kitchen and the living room benefict from the heat.

Notice the down lights. I think the look great!

Sorry for the delay! it's been quite hectic the last couple of weeks, that plus my newly found passion (langrenn) has left me with no time to post en entry in the blog.

So here it is, the week in pictures!


The apartment below is located in one of my favorites areas of Oslo, Kampen and was buit in the 18th century!!

The owner of the apartment below, located in Torshov, was super kind and friendly. Thank you for the Coca Cola! :)

Enoks Vei is without any doubt the street that I've shot the most. I think if the camera had legs, I could easily send it alone :) The owners of this place did a really good job staging their apartment.

I think this red flowers looked great!!

I think the owners of this apartment did a great job color coordinating their space. I loved the contrast of turquoise and red. Very bold and dramatic.

It's not everyday that I get to shoot a 46 Mill kr. view. Can't still say anything about the location or post any further images. But it was great fun! :)

In the news (sort of)...

One of the things I love the most about my job, is that I get the opportunity to meet interesting people and shoot uncommon places.

Not being norwegian, I don't really know if the person that I'm shooting for, is famous or not. It just happens to be another assignment that deserves the same attention and focus as the next one.  But when my client (Anders Nykkelmo Solem from Ihus Majorstua) told me that I was shooting for Jo Nesbø, it certainly made my day, eventhough I've never read any of his books!

It made me even happier to know that the house was sold for 650.000 Kr over hhv.

I really liked this place. Perfect location and endless possibilities.

Despite not having any coins to pay the parking - in that part of the city, parkingmeters do not accept credit cards - or asking if all that DJ equipment she had in the living room belonged to a friend...she was extremely nice and friendly.

Yep, you gotta love this girl... talented, beautiful and friendly. Here's the article that Kjendis published when she was selling her apartment.

As it often happens with me, the kitchen was my favorite part of the apartment.

Sometimes is not the owner that makes the news, but the sale itself. Again this time happen with the same megler as from Jo Nesbø's house, Anders Nykkelmo Solem, from Ihus Majorstua.

This week Aftenposten published an article about an enebolig that is on sale for 4.5 Mill Kr. 

The megler is Ole Christian Malterud Akre from the DnB office at Lambertseter.

Change, Change, Change.

When I started this blog I had the idea to reach as many people as possible. Homeowners trying to sell, people that appreciate interiors, meglers in need for the latest news in the eiendom business and wealthy housewives living in Wisteria Lane.

Well, maybe the last part is not totally true, but the point is that blogging is really time consuming! So from now on, I won't be updating the Nyheter section.

I apologize to the people that found the news section useful, but I simply don't have the time to update it as often as I'd like to.

Having said that, I hope you still find the blog entertaining and useful and keep coming back for more.

I love everything about kitchens. The fact that they're a gathering place rather than a practical one, makes them so appealing to me, and this one, despite being the average size in Oslo, had something special. I really liked it.

Often seen holding curtains, this detail looked really cool hanging from the door.

Back to business.

Like in any good relation, once you find something you love, it just get's better with time. This is exactly how I feel about photography. After almost three weeks of not shooting eindom I was starting to get relentless.

Sure I was having lots of fun under Brazil's blazing sun,  but I at the same time I felt something was missing. To mitigate that sensation I started shooting windsurfers, sunsets, people and even dokeys, but nothing gave me the satisfaction I get when shooting interiors.

I don't really want to brag on how much I love what I do, or how much enjoyment I get out of shooting interiors, just wanted to say, that it feels great to be home.

Here are some of my favorite shots of the week. Hope you enjoy them!

This kitchen was nicely staged. The flowers, the books, everything was in the right place.

Really loved these skateboard decks. Uncommon and cool stuff.

Perfect example of the "size does't matter"  :). Small and cute bathroom.

This place was full of good vibes. Can't tell what it is, just plain good taste, I guess.
